A House of Prayer

Why We Pray?

Prayer is how we communicate and deepen our relationship/spiritual intimacy with God.

Prayer allows us to echo our gratitude for God's promises and defeat the enemy (Ephesians 6:12). As followers of Christ, we engage in prayer to gain wisdom, strength, and encouragement from our Father. Prayer reminds us just how much we depend on God and allows us to express our thoughts to Him.

How We Pray

Prayer is a daily requirement as a disciple. We must acknowledge and communicate with God every day, for He has allowed us another day to do His will. Prayer humbles us and emphasis how much we rely on God's intervention in our lives. We pray out of commitment, not convenience. We desire to spend time with God, who earnestly seeks to spend time with us. Below are some examples of prayers that you can recite daily to help you maintain and develop your communication with God.

We serve a limitless and mighty God, which means there is no request or petition too small or too big for God. When praying, remember who God is and His promises to us, His children. God hears honest prayers that align with His will (1 John 5:14). We are to approach God with the faith and confidence that all things (including prayers!) will work for the good of those who love the Lord (Romans 8:28)

Lastly, we pray together. As the body of Christ, we are here to pray with each other and for each other. Prayers are powerful when communities back them. You don't have to be alone in prayer - we're happy to join and support you. If you would like to send us any prayer requests, please click the button below. Your prayers will be reviewed and prayed for by our church leadership. Please note: prayer requests will not be shared publicly.
